Introducing: Buybox Auto-Pricing
We're excited to announce a reworked, rebuilt and redesigned Buybox Tracker.
You'll find the new Buybox Tracker in the same place in the app — all users will receive the update at the same time. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to us at support@palmetrics.co.za.
Why the rebuild?
The original Buybox Tracker was built very quickly as a response to customer demand. Over time it became a functional but bloated page with a lot of different components and non-intuitive workflows (and a few bugs!).
Our goals for the redesign were to:
- Make the tracker more usable on mobile screens
- Simplify onboarding for new users
- Create a more compact design so experienced users can quickly scan the information they need
- Streamline the developer experience so we can build new features faster
Auto-Pricing Configuration
You can now configure auto-pricing by clicking on a product, clicking 'Edit' and then configuring your minimum and preferred price.
Bulk CSV Updates
You can now bulk update your products in the Buybox Tracker by exporting a CSV file, editing it and importing it again.
Activity Log Search
Search Activity logs for specific products to see what changes the auto-pricing has made for that product.
Product Detail Popup
Click on any product to see a summary popup showing the offer count, current status, stock, Buybox winner, and your auto-pricing settings.
Product Identifier Options
You can now choose how products are displayed: by PLID (ID), GTIN, TSIN, SKU, or Title (default).
Auto-Price Status Filtering
Filter your product list by auto-pricing status:
- Actively Competing — The price is between your minimum and preferred price.
- Minimum Reached — The price has reached your configured minimum.
- Preferred Reached — The price has reached your configured preferred price.
Buybox Statistics
Click 'View Details' to see statistics including how many of your offers have reached their minimum or preferred price, how many are actively competing, and your winning/losing breakdown.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed pagination between product pages.
- Removed the 50-product viewing limit — 'Load More' now supports unlimited products.
- Sorting by column now works correctly.
