Sync Your Stock

If you sell on multiple channels, Palmetrics can automatically keep your stock levels in sync across all of them — preventing overselling and saving you from manual updates.

Why sync stock?

When you sell on multiple platforms (e.g. Takealot and Shopify), a sale on one channel doesn't automatically update stock on the others. This can lead to:

  • Overselling — accepting orders you can't fulfil
  • Manual work — constantly updating stock across platforms
  • Errors — forgetting to update a channel after restocking

Stock sync solves all of these by automatically propagating stock changes across your connected integrations.

How it works

  1. Connect your channels — Link your sales platforms to Palmetrics (Takealot, Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, etc.)
  2. Choose a stock source of truth — Designate one channel where you'll make all stock adjustments
  3. Enable stock sync — Contact us to turn on the feature
  4. Sit back — When a sale happens on any channel, Palmetrics updates stock everywhere else automatically

Use Palmetrics as your source of truth

Instead of managing stock through one of your sales channels, you can use Palmetrics itself as your central inventory manager. See Using Palmetrics as an Inventory Manager for details.

Enable stock sync

Stock sync requires a quick setup on our end. Contact us to get started:

Also available: Cost Sync

If your inventory system or e-commerce platform tracks product costs, Palmetrics can pull those costs automatically — giving you accurate profit margins without manual data entry.
