Cost Sync

Palmetrics can automatically pull product costs from your connected integrations (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce) so you don't have to manage costs in multiple places.

How it works

When cost sync is enabled, Palmetrics will pull the cost of each product from your connected platform and keep it up to date. This means you can manage your costs on Shopify or WooCommerce and have them automatically reflected on Palmetrics.

Why use it?

Markup-based pricing

If you use markup-based pricing or markup-based repricing on Palmetrics, your prices are calculated as a percentage on top of your cost. With cost sync, when you update a product's cost on your external platform, your markup-based prices on Palmetrics adjust automatically — no manual updates needed.

More accurate profit estimations

Having up-to-date costs on Palmetrics means:

  • When managing prices — you can see accurate projected profit margins before setting or changing prices
  • When sales happen — your sales reports and analytics reflect the true profit for each sale, not estimates based on outdated or missing cost data

Pricing

The cost sync feature is currently free to use but will become a paid feature in the future. We'll communicate the pricing to you when it is available and give you notice in advance.
