Using Palmetrics as an Inventory Manager

Palmetrics can be used as your stock source of truth, giving you centralised control over inventory across all your sales channels.

How It Works

When you enable Palmetrics as your stock source of truth, stock levels are managed directly within Palmetrics. Any changes you make are automatically propagated to all connected channels that have stock sync activated.

Stock updates made on external systems (such as Takealot Seller Portal or other channels) will be ignored — all stock changes must be made from Palmetrics to ensure consistency across your channels.

Bulk Stock Uploads

Once you are using Palmetrics as your stock source of truth, a bulk stock upload option becomes available. This allows you to update stock levels for multiple products at once via CSV upload — useful for stocktakes or large inventory adjustments.

TIP

The bulk stock upload option is only visible after enabling Palmetrics as your stock source of truth.
