Installing the Palmetrics App ​

Palmetrics can be installed as an app on your computer, phone, or tablet for quick access — no app store required. Once installed, it works just like a native app with its own icon, window, and full-screen experience.

Desktop (Chrome) ​

  1. Open Palmetrics in Google Chrome
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (it looks like a monitor with a down arrow)
  3. Click Install in the prompt that appears

Palmetrics will open in its own window and an app icon will be added to your desktop or taskbar. You can launch it from there going forward without opening your browser first.

TIP

On macOS, the app will also appear in Launchpad and Spotlight search. On Windows, it will be available in the Start menu.

Desktop (Edge) ​

  1. Open Palmetrics in Microsoft Edge
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner
  3. Select Apps → Install this site as an app
  4. Click Install

Android ​

  1. Open Palmetrics in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app if prompted)
  4. Tap Install to confirm

The Palmetrics icon will appear on your home screen. Tapping it opens the app in full screen, just like any other app on your device.

iPhone & iPad ​

  1. Open Palmetrics in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow)
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner

On iOS, installed apps must be added through Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS do not support this feature.

Updating the App ​

The installed app updates automatically in the background. There is no need to reinstall or manually check for updates — you will always have the latest version of Palmetrics.

Removing the App ​

To uninstall, remove it the same way you would any other app on your device:

  • Windows — Right-click the app in the Start menu and select Uninstall
  • macOS — Open Finder → Applications → right-click the app and select Move to Bin
  • Android — Long-press the app icon and select Uninstall
  • iPhone / iPad — Long-press the app icon and tap Remove App → Delete App
